Yuvraj Singh Suffering from Lung Tumor

Yuvraj Singh was the Man of the Tournament in the World Cup 2011 which India won after 28 years. Since then he toured England, played only Tests and then played two test matches against West Indies in the home series.

But since World Cup his performance degraded, his confidence achieved a new low, and his body language changed drastically. What led to such change was not understandable until his mother Shabnam Singh revealed the truth.

Yuvraj Singh is suffering from Lung Tumor – were the words of his mother. That shocked the fans of the cricketer and the fellow teammates. In an exclusive interview, Yuvraj Singh’s mother Shabnam Singh said “During the World Cup, Yuvraj was coughing and vomiting. Reports and scans showed that he was dealing with something really serious. A golf-ball sized lump was found in his left lung and doctors advised us to go for more scans”.

Yuvraj Singh, the best Indian all rounder in the current era, was battling from the disease since IPL 2011 but was unaware of it’s depth. Yuvraj Singh chose not to be a part of the One-Day side against West Indies following the treatment.

Yuvraj Singh is recovering fast from lung tumor and is expected to be match fit before the ODI series against Australia in Australia. Yuvraj Singh was not picked in the Test side visiting Australia for the series.
